ILLINOIS State Basketball 4A Championship
Laila was a prominent member of the Edwardsville, IL Lincoln Middle School, showcasing her exceptional skills and leadership on the court while helping to lead her school to the state finals for the first time in 20 years.
2023
REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONS
Laila and her team won the 2023 7th grade girls 4-A regional volleyball championship.
2024
Track state Champion
Laila qualified for the Illinois track and field state meet in 2024 in the 100m, the 4x400m and the 4x100m. She and her teammates won 1st in the 4x100m, setting the Illinois state record in that event.
